With the ending of each year we like to take a moment and look back on the past year to reflect on what has happened in business and the world of technology and what will the new year bring. We have seen technology rapidly revolutionize everyday life and the disruption it is having on businesses. The fast pace of change is adding more stress to our lives because we are expected to make the right decisions in an area that is out of your expertise. Even in the past few weeks, the financial news has been dominated by block chain and bitcoin. It is not the easiest concept to understand and it that something you need to know, should be investing, etc.
Our goal for 2018 is to continually educate our clients on how they can better leverage technology and where are the smart bets. In order to feel comfortable about technology, we must have a better understanding. We are experiencing some of these technology innovations in our personal lives, we have IoT (Internet of Things) such as, the Amazon Echo evolution, Nest Smart Thermostat, Ring model updates, Philips Hue Smart Bulbs, Kolibree Smart Toothbrush, and more.
These and newer technologies will be entering our business as well as Artificial Intelligence (AI). These are not pipe dreams or 5 years away; this is all happening now.
We are seeing Smart Machines now having the ability to change behavior, understand, and evolve constantly.
If technology is impacting everyday life and even business life, what is stopping you from integrating technology into your organizations processes? When is the last time you took a look at your process or innovated? In our eyes, we look at all companies as technology companies simply because if you are not your competition is. We at CHIPS take pride in staying current with the latest technology trends and reiterate that information to all of our clients. We can help you look at your business to not only be relevant but take advantage of the digital world. We have several companies engaged with us to map out their innovation plans.
Thanks to all of our clients for another successful year. We appreciate the faith and confidence you have with us. Happy holidays to you, your families, business, employees and their families. See you in 2018.
